This past Sunday me and my friends were over-due a meet up and chat so I went ahead and booked afternoon tea at the G hotel for us. Only one of my friends had done the afternoon tea before so we were all so excited to try it out and it did not disappoint-First of all I have to say the service we received was amazing and the staff tending to us were all so helpful and kept our teapots topped up!! 

So what do you get in the afternoon tea deal?? Well what you see in the photos below is what is served to share between two people so we had two of these platters for our group of four and it was plenty-we were all left feeling full and happy on our way home.

On one plate there was all of our little sandwiches which went down a treat with our resounding favourite being the little wraps-small but so flavoursome!! After the sandwiches, we went onto the delicious fresh scones served with butter, cream and jam.... they were just the perfect size. Last but not least were the selection of sweet treats with the favourite being the carrot cake for sure-it was so light and the perfect ending to our tea.... speaking of tea there is a nice selection of teas on the menu-the girls had tea and I had berry tea as recommended by one of our servers and it was yum.

Hello lovelies-so as some of you may have noticed we are HUGE fans of Nia goodies here on EALoves!! Their products are all natural, smell AMAZING, are affordable and give great results what more could you want????

So when I saw that they were coming out with some new goodies-I was DELIGHTED to find out that we were going to get to try them out so thank you so much to Celia and the Nia team for sending these to us to try #ealtryouts

Both Emily and I suffer from dry skin so Nia products are made for us-the first product I used us the Calendula and Orange blossom 2 step facial cleansing balm available HERE for €19.95!! This is such a great price because one tin will last you ages-the formula is buttery and so easy to spread on the skin you don't need much at al to cover the face and neck so it's great bang for your buck... We all know we need to moisturise our dry skin but also we need to cleanse off any dead skin too and a gentle product is what we want...

Now onto the cleansing process-step one is to dampen your face and neck area and apply a small amount of product using the handy spatula included in the package. As with all Nia goodies-the cleanser smells so beautiful and it so easy to apply. Step two is to rinse the cleansing cloth also included and wring it out before sweeping over the face to remove the cleanser and leaving super soft skin behind!! 

The next product I used after my cleansing is the intensive restoring facial hydrating mist available HERE for 19.95-made with oat and aloe the mist feels so good on the skin and dries in quickly and easily-no sticky residue!! You can use the mist throughout the day to refresh the skin and it can even be used over make-up BONUS!!

The pop up shop that was just beside our table at the event was Debenhams HERE and they had such a pretty display of goodies from their store including fashions, perfume, accessories and treats like these yummy glasses of pink vit-hit juice. Us bloggers were also the very lucky recipients of a generous voucher from Debenhams in our goodie bags and I will be back with a post with what we got with out vouchers.

As it was coming up to Valentines at the time of the meet up-their display was perfect for the Valentines theme and there was some pretty lingerie too...

The girls manning the stand were so nice and helpful in showing us all that was on offer and also gave us some samples from the Thierry Mugler Angel range which they carry instore.

And a quick snap of some of the fashion on display-Debenhams is for sure a one stop shop for any occasion!

Another pop up shop which was one of my faves from the last meet up is Cotton Face vintage HERE-their selection of clothing and accessories is a little treasure trove and caught the eye of all us bloggers.

I could not resist trying one of these beauties on-nails are Essie Chinchilly HERE

Atir shapewear also had a stand which beautifully displayed their products-I really liked the pretty lace detail too which added a lovely touch not always seen on shapewear!!

This display from Sweet treats by Fiona was also a hit and the mini cupcakes tasted AMAZING-I brought some home to the kids as a treat and they loved them too :)

The next shop was my favourite new discovery and that is the beautiful and talented Basia from Basianti HERE. First of all-I could have bought every single piece on display...they were all made in my favourite colours and I just love the materials that she uses. 

I just could not RESIST this wrap bracelet in the grey colour so I snapped it up-you can buy it HERE Aggie also picked up a beautiful piece and the arrowhead necklaces are on my wish list!!

Other pop ups on the day included Youngblood Cosmetics HERE-a firm favourite with everyone at TWBN, David McConville orthodontics HERE who sponsored a very generous prize for a very lucky blogger, Make Me Sparkle HERE -her glasses were so stunning and would make fantastic gifts, Beautifi.com, Tan Organic HERE which was also included in our goody bags so we will have a review up soon and Peter Mark HERE.

Hello lovelies and first off sorry for the bit of a break I had taken there-I haven't been feeling very well.... Today I'm throwing it back to an ITWBN meet up!! #ealthrowbackthursday

Next was Siobhán from letzmakeup who is one of Ireland's top YouTube make up artists! It was very cool to hear from her and to see how she has made a living thru her YouTube channel.... I was well impressed and you can subscribe to her lovely channel HERE

Then came lunch time and the lovely peeps at the Radisson did not disappoint-we were treated to delicious mini burgers, chips, mini spring rolls, cocktail sausages, chicken goujons and believe me when I say they were all soooooooo good!!! 

Then we had a quick intro from Richard about his exciting new business beautifi.com where you can now book all you hair and beauty appointments online.

The always charming Galway Player then gave us a Twitter lesson we will not forget.... He also has started up an Instagram account which also focuses on men's fashion and lifestyle you should check that out-his username is galwayplayer  #savethepuppy

Last but by no means least was the fabulous Kate from Cocoa brown HERE-telling us about her job and also about the blogger/companies relationship and how to go about dealing with companies which was great to hear from a companies point of view.

I am going to do another post soon with all the deets about the pop up shops that were there on the day too... There's just too much to cram into this one post!!
